What each one is
Both run on Skool. AI SEO Rainmakers was founded by Charles Floate in August 2026 and published by SEO.Stream; it is a testing programme with a community around it. AI Ranking is run by Nicolas Gorrono under the DataWise SEO brand (legal entity AI Ranking SpA, Chile); it is a community with software bundled and a library of 50 or more lessons. The paid AI Ranking room showed 701 members on 9 September 2026; Rainmakers showed 325.
Price and terms
Rainmakers: $279 a month as of 9 September 2026, rising $10 for every 25 members, 7-day money-back, one-click cancellation. AI Ranking: $27 a month for the base tier and $47 for the tier with live calls, billed through Skool, 7-day money-back by direct message to the founder, card required. AI Ranking's three official pages show three different tier lists, including a $3,000-a-year VIP tier only on Skool. Over a year at today's rates: $3,348 against $324 to $564.
Evidence
Rainmakers publishes live tests with dates and confidence ratings and retires dead tactics in public. AI Ranking's official pages describe courses and a tool but no testing programme. On our rubric that is a 5 against a 2, and it is the criterion we weight when products are close. Here they are not close on that criterion, and that is the real difference between the two prices.
Tools
Both score 5. AI Ranking bundles the DataWise SEO software (keywords, backlinks, rankings, AI visibility, audits), which is a working tool you would otherwise pay for. Rainmakers ships repositories you run yourself: a parasite-page builder, a build agent, a mini-brain. Different shapes of tool for different buyers.
Who each is for
Rainmakers' official fit list is working SEOs, agency owners, affiliate operators and builders, with beginners explicitly excluded. AI Ranking's is local businesses, agencies and solo operators, with a base tier described as for DIY owners on their own schedule. Read those two lists and you will know which one you are.
