The two agency problems
Agencies in 2026 tend to have one of two problems, and often both. This is an editorial framing, not a survey finding. The first is operational: too many hours per client, inconsistent deliverables, reporting that takes a day a month. The second is commercial: clients asking why they are not in ChatGPT's answer, and the agency not having a defensible service to sell them. The courses in this category split cleanly along that line.
The Blueprint Training, for the first problem
The Blueprint Training has been training agencies since 2015 and its current membership bundles the training with the Agency OS software (CRM, project management, client reporting, billing, P&L), 128 templates and SOPs, six pre-built Claude agents for proposals, onboarding, audits, plans, reporting and content, and live coaching twice a week with Ryan Stewart and David Krevitt. It is $199 a month or $1,999 a year. Two things to weigh: all sales are final, and you must cancel 30 days before your next billing date. Read the Blueprint review.
AI SEO Rainmakers, for the second problem
AI SEO Rainmakers' official fit list includes agency owners who need to sell and deliver AI search work this quarter. The Foundations course is built to produce agency deliverables: a Campaign Card, a Baseline Report that doubles as a cold audit, an Access Report, and a monthly Delta Report written so it can go straight to the client. The weekly 3.5-hour call includes live audits of member sites. It costs $279 a month as of 9 September 2026 with a 7-day money-back guarantee, and it does not teach you how to run an agency. Read the Rainmakers review or the Rainmakers and Blueprint head-to-head.
If the budget is smaller
AI Ranking by DataWise SEO names agencies in its audience, bundles an SEO tool, and runs two live calls a week on its $47 tier. It is not a testing programme and its official pages disagree about tiers, but it is the cheapest room in which an agency can learn the AI-search basics. The free HubSpot AEO Fundamentals certificate is a reasonable thing to have every account manager complete.
Questions on this decision
Can one course teach both agency operations and AI search?
Not among the products we could verify. Blueprint teaches operations and describes its AI content as workflow agents. Rainmakers teaches AI search and is silent on running an agency. Traffic Think Tank hosts both conversations but publishes no curriculum for either.
Which has the better refund terms?
Rainmakers: 7 days, no questions asked, one-click cancellation. Blueprint: none, and 30 days' notice to cancel. If you are unsure, the order to try them in is obvious.
Is The Blueprint Training worth $199 a month for a one-person agency?
If the Agency OS replaces tools you already pay for and the templates save you a proposal a month, yes. If you do not want another software platform, the value drops sharply, because the software is a large part of what you are buying.
